Whoa
Christmas 2012, I won't miss you
Where to begin. We celebrated Christmas up in Bellingham which was great. Mckenna was a little under the weather but still had her spunk and sparkle. Looking back at the pictures, I can see her snotty nose and red eyes... poor baby. The real trouble hit on Christmas Eve when Roderick came down with a fever... that lasted... and lasted... and lasted. 5 days later, we found out that Roderick had the RSV Virus which turned into Phenomena. It was terrible. To make things even worse, Harv got really sick. And to make things even more worse, Roderick was sick for so long that we were not able to go to Leavenworth with the family for New Years. Heartbreaking, I know. Roderick getting sick was very upsetting to me. I am not sure I'm over it. It really made me realize how lucky we are to have healthy children. I know many parents spend lots of time at the Doctors office and we are fortunate enough to steer clear most of the time. It also made me realize that I have to get my anxiety in check. Yeah, its been a rough month to say the least. I am SO thankful for my friends and family who helped me get back to "normal," whatever that is.
Christmas in Bellingham
RSV Virus brought to you by??? Sissy Bear.
Santa may have been low on electronics but not the Aunties and Uncles!
Roderick thought he was pretty cool getting an ipod touch (aka: Sam's old iPhone 3)
Grandpa Jack's gift to the family made Grandma Laura very happy
Don't tell PETA but this girl loves her furs
Christmas Eve at the Castle
Roderick, its Uncle Sean's job to have your eyes closed in EVERY picture
Christmas Morning at Home
Candy, Mckenna's favorite part of Christmas
Despite being sick, Roderick was able to open presents. We missed brunch with our friendly neighbors but as the day went on, Roderick seemed to feel better. We went on with the festivities... probably not the best idea. Darn it.
Christmas Dinner at The Ranch (Thanks Prita for the pics)
December 26th- The Party Continues
Despite the sick boys
Needless to say, I can't wait for Christmas 2013. We need a re-do.
