This summer has been FULL of adventures. From the Wiggles, to the Zoo, to Bellingham and Anderson Island, I think we have made the most of our 2 sunny Seattle days. I guess it's officially almost over too. I saw "back to school" signs in early June and now I am seeing pumpkins and Christmas trees. Hmmm. Thanks Target. You are stressing me out!!! Let's take one day at a time. Right now I am trying to brace myself for football season.
We have some more summer left. I can feel it. In the meantime, sit back, unwind and enjoy some Harvie family party pics!
THE WIGGLES COME TO SEATTLE
The Wiggles round 2. Yes, this was Rocky's 2nd concert. And the answer is no. He is not even close to outgrowing them.
Jeff was a no show. While Rocky thinks he was sleeping, he was actually having heart surgery. I guess that's an OK excuse for missing a Wiggles concert. We will let it slide. Rocky was not into the many, "wake up Brad's." It wasn't the same. I must agree.

Baby Kenna thought it was a little loud. Notice the ear plugs in her ears. They lasted about 2 seconds. I think she preferred the, "wake up Brad" to the ear plugs. I don't blame ya Sis.
I am pretty sure Grammie likes the Wiggles now too. She really doesn't have a choice.
ANDERSON ISLAND
Last week I had my two little sisters while my mom was in California. Having 4 kids for 7 days was CAKE!!! Well, sort of...

THE ZOO
Roderick is VERY into zoo animals these days. He loves to watch Baby Genius Zoo Animals over and over and over again. I thought a trip to the zoo was appropriate, since he can actually recognize the animals as we pass by them. He often reminded himself "monkey behind the glass, snake behind the glass, apes behind the glass." This must have been his way of making himself feel better about the whole animal situation. He didn't like that the Hippos and Bears were not behind a glass... me either.

Look at this. This animal is trying to take our name. HEY! We are the Muh's!!!! Right Muh?
The Dinosaur exhibit. The older kids enjoyed this. Again, Roderick did not like that they were "not behind the glass." I often reminded him, "they are just BIG toys." Through the whole exhibit I heard, "they are just big toys, let's go Momo, they are just big toys, keep going Momo, they are just big toys."
BELLINGHAM
I must include some pictures from good old Bellingham, Harv's stompin grounds. During this short trip we heard things like, "that's where daddy went to school, that's where daddy played football." Oh and my personal favorite, "I was popular in High School. I was in the A list crowd but nice to the D listers." I don't doubt this honey, even though you were kidding... you were joking right? Every trip we get the same stories about the good ole days. I don't blame him. I'm glad he has fond memories of his childhood and where he grew up. I have to say I think Bellingham has grown on me as well. It produced some good product. Some A list Product (love you honey).
