So July was SUPER busy. I had a baby and my oldest son turned 5. I could give you all the excuses in the world of why I am just now posting these but I won't. The bottom line is, we took Roderick's 5 year pics a few months later than we had wanted to. Better late than never right? My super talented 15 year old cousin Clare took these adorable pictures at Wright park a few weeks ago (just $75 plus WA State sales tax). She was able to capture the TRUE, fun loving side of Roderick on this beautiful fall day. She was also able to take a few "brother" shots and even snuck me in some of them. The pictures of my boys together actually made me tear up. There is something genuinely wonderful and special about brothers. I am honored to be able to witness the special bond they share with each other, even though they are years apart in age. Roderick takes care of Kyler and will continue to be his role model. I am SO lucky to have my boys. I am slightly crazy about my little girl too. Today, as we approach Thanksgiving, I am feeling blessed. Blessed beyond words that I have the family of my dreams.
And while life isn't perfect, its pretty damn great.
