Staycation

So this is what happens when you are supposed to take your 3 kids to Disneyland for the FIRST time and there is a measles outbreak.  You tour your own beautiful city and you realize just how lucky you are to be here, even on not so sunny days.

It was all over the news - "measles hits the happiest place on earth." Of course this happens right at the time we were planning our trip with Sean and Prita and kids and my mom and 3 sisters.  To say we were disappointed would be an understatement.  But since Kyler is too young for the MMR, we decided to move our big Disney trip to the fall with the Harvie side… right Harvies???

While the group went off to California, we did Seattle.  And we did it BIG! We stayed at the Four Season which was absolutely AMAZING. They knew we had to cancel our Disney trip so they treated us extra special- left goodies for Roderick and Mckenna, kid proofed our room, gave us free breakfast, and even let the kids make their own cotton candy.  We felt like celebrities.   If I ever win the lottery, I will have to sell the condo in Belltown and buy a unit at the Four Seasons.  Ok ok. So that will never happen but a girl can dream.  We also took the kids to Ride the Duck (which was SUPER fun), to the Crab Pot (because you have to), to Pike Place (lets see you catch a slippery fish) and to the Space Needle (my God was it always that high up?)

We had a blast.
