Santa Train

It was a drive
It was cold
The lines were long

BUT IT WAS WORTH IT

If you haven't headed over to North Bend to catch the Santa train, you should think about it.  The kids had a great time singing Christmas carols on the train, meeting Santa and having cookies and hot cocoa.  It is especially fun to share this tradition with family.  The highlight of our trip was watching the kids sit with Santa.  Mara and Mckenna were less than pleased.  Kennedy had no problem asking the old man in the red suit for her Christmas gifts.

Kiki: " I want a jewelry box, an American Girl with American Girl clothes, a camera and thats all!"  I think Santa will bring Kennedy everything she has asked for, afterall, she is on the nice list.  He might, however, find a knock-off American Girl.  :-)

Roderick: "I want a teddy bear and an iPhone."

Yes, you read that right
He asked for an iPhone
I was so happy when Santa informed him that the North Pole is running short on electronics this year.
What Santa didn't tell him is that his Aunties and almost "uncles"  would convert an old iphone 3 to an ipod touch.  Yeah.  He got just what he wanted, and it wasn't from Santa either.   Spoiled much???

Thank goodness Santa will bring him the teddy bear Christmas morning since he is also on the nice list.  But something tells me he won't be as excited about that as he was the iPhone.  Geesh.  The most expensive and elaborate gift I asked for was Cricket! You know, that blonde doll who talked and played games with you?   If you don't remember her, you are too young.  And its official.  We have entered a whole new technological world.  Lets hope Santa remembers that the North Pole runs short on electronics every year when he asks for a DS or a Wii.  God help me.

Christmas 2012
